TrioMax

A liquid zinc, manganese, copper, molybdenum and boron complex derived from plant carbohydrates (contains 1.4% zinc, 2.9% manganese, 1.4% copper, 0.24% molybdenum and 0.28% boron)

Role of Zinc in the Plant:

  • An essential enzyme activator
  • Required for energy production and protein synthesis
  • Helps winterize perennial crops
  • Necessary for auxin production (growth regulators)

Role of Manganese in the Plant:

  • Essential as an enzyme activator
  • Controls supply of growth regulators
  • Influences uptake and assimilation of other nutrients
  • Involved in synthesis of lignin which is important in disease resistance
  • Involved in oxygen processes in photosynthesis

Role of Copper in the Plant:

  • Enzyme activator
  • Significant influence on flavour and colour
  • Influences carbohydrate and nitrogen metabolic reactions
  • High organic matter, high pH and high phosphate soils tie up copper

Signs of Zinc Deficiency:

  • Small leaves
  • Chlorosis and stunting of new leaves
  • Malformation of foliage and reduced fruit set
  • Slower maturity, dry down of crops
  • Tip die-back of crops like onions
  • High pH and high phosphate soils tie up zinc

Signs of Manganese Deficiency

  • Interveinal chlorosis on mature foliage, followed by chlorosis of young foliage
  • Wilted foliage
  • Limed soils more likely to be manganese deficient
  • High organic matter soils tie up manganese

Signs of Copper Deficiency

  • Pale yellow leaves, dying at tips
  • Dieback of terminal growth caused by inadequate lignin deposits in cell walls
  • Shortened internodal length - stunted plants
  • Deficiency more prevalent in newer growth

Advantages of TrioMax

  • Combines 5 essential micronutrients in one formulation (Zn, Mn, Cu, Mo, and B)
  • Liquid formulation is easy to mix and easy to use
  • Rapid penetration and good absorption
  • Contains no nitrogen, sulphates or chlorides
  • Compatible with a wide range of pesticides
  • Safe - good crop tolerance
  • Complexes derived from plant carbohydrates
  • Cost effective

Methods of Application

TrioMax can be applied as a foliar treatment in a regular spray program or as a corrective spray. It is suitable for ground or aerial spraying.
