Make BoronMax® and ZincMaxᵀᴹ
your pre-bloom foliar application strategy!

Zinc and Boron are often recommended as post-harvest sprays to support processes at bloom timing, but if that application was missed both can be applied at pink bud to support growth and development in the spring. Zinc has a variety of roles including promoting cell division and elongation, protein synthesis, auxin synthesis, and in protecting plants from abiotic stress that can wreak havoc on sensitive blossoms. Boron is essential for pollen development and is required in female flower tissues for proper nut set. Foliar applications of these nutrients pre-bloom will position your trees for improved yields

Activated by our exclusive PolyAldoCarbosate® technology. BoronMax and ZincMax are chelated with PAC technology that promotes micronutrient availability beyond that of standard micronutrient materials. Our exclusive formulation of natural, plant-derived carbohydrates chelate essential crop nutrients to enhance uptake and optimize usage by the plant.

Data from the field:

Crop: Almond (Nonpareil, planted in 2013)
Year: 2023
Location: Mendota, CA
Design: Split field.
Method: The grower standard practice was applied across the site and was compared to an area that was also treated with ZincMax (1 pt/ac) and BoronMax (12 oz/ac) as a foliar spray at pink bud on 19 Feb in a water volume of 120 gal/ac.
Results: The ZincMax and BoronMax treatment resulted in 97 lbs/ac over the grower standard. The same yield increase was observed in 2022 despite lower yields overall that season.
